Life Chronology

1999 - 2013

• Born & raised in Edmonton, Alberta (also known as ‘Deadmonton’) 🏔️
• Started piano when I was 4, and spent the majority of my childhood practicing and competing in competitions until I graduated from RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) level 10 🎹
• Went to Chinese school every Saturday and got the highest grade in my class (the only reason i can kind of order from Chinese restaurants now) 🀄
• Was on the speech & debate team and made it to provincials 💬
• Participated in speech arts for a year and memorized poems and pieces of literature 🗣️

2014 - 2016

• Co-owned and ran a start-up (Shop Makadai) where I created and posted social media content and shipped out cute stationery every week 🖊️
• Made a lot of soap at midnight in the kitchen for a soap start-up (Fulona Soaps) with Junior Achievement and won VP Operations of the Year & Company of the Year 🏅
• Competed in cross country (running) and ran in provincials 🏃🏻‍♀️

2017 - 2022

• Attended the University of Alberta and became a regular at the climbing gym
• Went to china for a month on exchange and learned Mandarin and more about the Chinese culture (through copious amounts of guo bao ro) 🇨🇳
• Ran a few half marathons & a full marathon & generally improved over the years 🏃🏻‍♀️
• Worked at the zoo and as a legal assistant simultaneously 🦓
